rtylering asked: a viewing tower that looks like a penis?
May I ask what it is called?

Decided I want an Australian best friend.
I am from the Newcastle in Australia. Unfortunately it lacks the thick accents and bizarre slang of its UK namesake, but it does have a viewing tower that looks like a penis.

Daleks v Cybermen is the most hilarious thing...
Dalek: Identify yourself.
Cybermen: You will identify first.
Dalek: State your identity.
Cybermen: You will identify first.
Dalek: Identify!
Cybermen: That is inconsistent and illogical. You will modify.
Dalek: Daleks do not take orders.
Cybermen: You have identified as Daleks.
Dalek: Outline resembles the inferior species known as Cybermen!
Dalek: Our scans confirm presence of crude Cybernetic constructs on worldwide scale.
Cybermen: Our species are similar, though your design is inelegant.
Dalek: Daleks have no concept of elegance!
Cybermen: This is obvious. But consider, our technologies are compatible. Cybermen plus Daleks - together, we could upgrade the universe.
Dalek: You propose an alliance?
Cybermen: This is correct.
Dalek: Request denied!
*Dalek kills Cybermen*
Cybermen: Daleks, be warned; you have declared war upon the Cybermen.
Dalek: This is not war - this is pest control!
Cybermen: We have five million Cybermen. How many are you?
Dalek: Four.
Cybermen: You would destroy the Cybermen with four Daleks?
Dalek: We would destroy the Cybermen with one Dalek! You are superior in only one respect.
Cybermen: What is that?
Dalek: You are better at dying!

Health Week, Newcastle Teachers' College - 1950
Teacher’s College in Newcastle was obviously more fun back in 1950. My teaching degree never allowed me to do fun things like this…

Hydraulic Power Station, Carrington , ca 1899
We stumbled across this building during a walk through Carrington, and adored it. It’s awesome to think that it has been there since before 1899. I plan to go there with my camera to take a picture of how it looks now.

Railway Station Hamilton, NSW, 12 April 1906
I love how much Hamilton Station has stayed the same for 105 years.
